The Correctify Windows app brings AI correction everywhere: email, word processors, chat apps, forms. No per-browser extension needed: correction works in any software where you write. The interface is available in English and French, and the app updates itself automatically.
What the app does

Highlight your text, press the shortcut, and the corrected version instantly replaces the original, right where you were writing.
Multiple tones to choose from
On top of plain correction, pick a tone from the menu: professional, courteous, concise, formal or simplified. Your text is rewritten in the style you want, still with a single shortcut.
Reliable replacement, no matter what
Even if you switch windows or click elsewhere during correction, the fixed text is placed back exactly where it belongs as soon as you return.
Cancel in one click
Started a correction by mistake? The “Cancel” button on the indicator stops everything: nothing is changed, and your clipboard is left untouched.
English or French
The interface switches between English and French in one click; the language of your text is detected automatically: you’re corrected, never translated.
Automatic updates
The app checks for and installs new versions on its own, in the background: you always have the latest version without lifting a finger.

Which Windows version do I need?
Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit. The app is lightweight and installs in seconds.
Is the app free?
Yes. Like the extensions, the app is free and ad-free. You use your own API key with the AI provider of your choice.
Is my text stored anywhere?
No. The selected text is sent directly to the AI provider matching your key, then the correction comes back. Nothing is kept on our side.
Does it work outside the browser?
Yes, that’s the whole point: correction works in any Windows application, not just the browser.
Can I choose the correction tone?
Yes. On top of the standard correction, which fixes your text without rewriting it, a menu offers several tones: professional, courteous, concise, formal or simplified. The chosen tone is remembered and applied to every correction, and you can change it anytime.
What languages is the app available in?
The interface comes in English and French; you switch between them in the options. The language of your text is detected automatically on every correction.
Does the app update itself automatically?
Yes. It regularly checks for new versions and installs them on its own in the background, then notifies you once the update is applied, with no need to re-run the installer.
What if I switch windows during correction?
No problem. The app remembers the original window and selection: if you move to something else while it works, the corrected text is applied in the right place as soon as you return to the window.
Is it risky when Windows says “Windows protected your PC”?
No. The app isn’t signed with a paid certificate yet, so SmartScreen shows this warning as a precaution for any recent app. Click “More info,” then “Run anyway” to install safely.
