A Correctify app for macOS — interested?

The Mac desktop app doesn’t exist yet. If there’s enough demand, I’ll build it: fix your text with AI inside any macOS app, with a single keyboard shortcut.

No commitment — a quick message is enough to “vote” for the Mac version.

Why this page?

Correctify is an independent project I build in my spare time. Rather than promise a date, I’d rather build the macOS version if enough people ask for it. Let me know you’re interested: every message counts and helps me prioritise.

In every app

Mail, Pages, Notes, Safari, chat apps… Select some text, run the correction, and it’s replaced in place.

One keyboard shortcut

Just like on Windows: a global shortcut (⌘ + ⌥ + C) triggers the correction — no copy-paste.

Language auto-detected

Your text is corrected in its own language, detected automatically. Never translated.

Your key, your AI

Google Gemini, OpenAI (ChatGPT) or Anthropic (Claude), depending on the API key you provide. No middleman server.

Meanwhile, Correctify already runs on your Mac

The browser extensions work on macOS today, in Chrome, Firefox and Thunderbird — enough to fix your emails and web text while the desktop app is in the works.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Mac app already exist?

Not yet. This page is here to gauge interest: if enough people ask for it, I’ll build the macOS version.

When will it be released?

No date is promised. The project will move forward based on demand. Leave your interest to be notified first.

How can I fix text on my Mac today?

Install the Chrome, Firefox or Thunderbird extension: they work on macOS and fix your text with a right-click.

Will the app be free?

The goal is the same as on Windows: a free app that uses your own API key, with no account and no data collection.
