Add the extension
Install Correctify from Firefox Add-ons (AMO).

Open the options
Click the Correctify icon, or go to about:addons → Correctify → Preferences.

Paste your API key and fix
Enter your key, save, select text then right-click → “Fix the text”.
Pick your AI
Correctify detects the provider from your key: a Google key (AIza…) calls Gemini, an OpenAI key (sk-…) calls ChatGPT, and an Anthropic key (sk-ant-…) calls Claude. You stay in control of the service and the cost.
Privacy
No intermediate server, no data collection. Your key and your text only go to the provider you chose.

Is Correctify compatible with the latest Firefox?
Yes, the extension targets Firefox 109 and above. It installs like any extension from the official add-ons site.
Is my data private?
Yes. No intermediate server: your text goes directly to the AI provider of your key, then the correction comes back.
Can I use my existing OpenAI key?
Yes. An OpenAI key (sk-…) enables ChatGPT. You can also use a Google Gemini or Anthropic Claude key.
