Add the extension
Install Correctify from the Chrome Web Store.

Open the options
Click the Correctify icon, or go to chrome://extensions → Correctify → Options.

Paste your API key and fix
Enter your key, save, then select text and right-click → “Fix the text”.
Pick your AI
Correctify detects the provider from your key: a Google key (AIza…) calls Gemini, an OpenAI key (sk-…) calls ChatGPT, and an Anthropic key (sk-ant-…) calls Claude. You stay in control of the service and the cost.
Privacy
No intermediate server, no data collection. Your key and your text only go to the provider you chose.

Does Correctify work in Gmail?
Yes. Correctify handles web email such as Gmail and Outlook, as well as rich editors. Select your text in the compose window and right-click.
Is the text translated?
No. The language is detected automatically and the text is corrected in that same language.
